The Ardenwald staff are committed to providing a wonderful experiences throughout the year for all of the young students looking for adventure. Our program is designed to ensure that each student enjoys the process of learning through fun, interesting and engaging lessons daily. Students are encouraged to rely on their imagination and explore their creative side through art and singing. Fossils, Gemstones and Treasure Hunting!
Adventurers will get their hands dirty panning for gemstones and digging for dinosaur bones, like a real paleontologist! Using investigative skills, they will draw dinosaur skeletons and document their findings.

Crazy Cosmic Conundrums
Astronomers will explore the Solar System, make planet mobiles, and create a planet of their very own using papier-mâché. They will share how their planet came into existence and how it will provide for the inhabitants.
*Planetarium field trip available
Balloons, Water Games and Soda Rockets!
Engineers will learn about gravity and what happens when you launch a rocket into space and fire water balloons into the sky with a catapult made at camp!
*Field trip to swimming pool available
Berries, Birds and Butterflies!
Students will earn a green thumb by planting a garden, and growing cucumbers in clay pots they make! Then they hit the trail to pick Oregon seasonal fruit while learning about birds and butterflies along the way.
